Nice one Julian. It makes sense to have accuracy as a percentile value within all games of a same rating band.

A swing, and a miss... when you mentioned, "Now that we have accuracies for the individual moves..." I thought you'd later return to rebut that construction, instead suggesting that humans think in short-term and long-term move sequences so accuracy should be compared using sliding windows.

This is an interesting idea, but how would you determine the length of these windows, as the number of moves in one sequence varies?

I'm not sure. It's an open research area with many possibilities, although I assume many of these possibilities could be fruitful.
